Prof. Wei Xie

South China University of Technology, China

Profile: He is currently a professor at the school of automation science and engineering, SCUT.  He has been selected into the new century excellent talent support plan of the Ministry of education in 2008. He served as a member of the Japanese Society of Measurement and Control (September 2003 to March 2006). He is now a member of the process control committee and a member of the predictive control and intelligent decision professional committee of the Chinese Society of Automation, member of the Guangdong Machinery Industry Expert Committee, member of the Guangdong Automation Society Special Committee, member of the Standardization Working Committee of the Guangdong Market Association, and consultant of the National Technical Standard Innovation Base (Guangzhou). 

Prof. Jian Cen

Guangdong Polytechnic Normal University, China

Profile: Jian Cen, Ph.D., Professor, Doctoral and Master's Supervisor, Dean of the School of Automation at Guangdong Polytechnic Normal University, a provincial academic leader in the "Thousand-Hundred-Ten Talents Project" of Guangdong Province, Director of Guangdong Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center for Energy-saving and Control of Smart Buildings, Director of Guangzhou Key Laboratory of Information Integration and Control of Smart Building Equipment, Head of the Scientific Research and Innovation Team of Smart Building Equipment Information Integration and Control in Guangdong Province, and recipient of the Guangdong Province Higher Education High-level Talents Project. In recent years, she has presided over more than 10 major projects including Guangdong Province's Science and Technology Application Research and Development Major Projects, Major Science and Technology Special Projects of Guangdong Province, and Guangdong Province Natural Science Foundation Projects. She has published over 50 high-level papers and holds more than 20 authorized invention patents. She also serves as a member of the Guangdong Province University Energy and Power Teaching Guidance Committee, a member of the Technical Process Fault Diagnosis and Safety Committee of the Chinese Association of Automation, Executive Director of the Guangdong Automation Society, Vice Chairman of the Guangzhou Automation Society, Vice Chairman of the Guangzhou Chemical Society, Deputy Director of the Internet of Things Professional Committee of the Guangdong Computer Society, and a reviewer for several internationally renowned journals.

Prof. Yonghong Liu

Sun Yat-sen University, China

Profile: Professor, assistant to the dean, vice chairman of Guangzhou Automation Association, chairman of the WTC Green Transportation System Technical Committee, technical expert for the Ministry of Environmental Protection's Second National Pollution Source Census, environmental protection consultant for the Standing Committee of the 13th and 14th Guangdong Provincial People's Congresses. Led over 50 research projects, published over 60 high-level academic papers, authored 1 monograph, received 15 invention patents, and 23 software copyrights. Awards include the first prize for the Science and Technology Progress Award from the Urban Planning Society of China, Young Innovator Science and Technology Award from the China Transportation Association, first prize from the Huaxia Construction Science and Technology Award, and the first prize from the Guangdong Provincial Environmental Protection Science and Technology Award.
